For the past few years, Microsoft has been working on “Microsoft Search” to unify and personalize its experience across its products for users with Office 365. The Microsoft Search is a prominent place across Edge, Bing, and Office apps, and the search box is also coming to Windows 10.
With Microsoft Search, the company is planning to supercharge the search box on the desktop for businesses. Unlike Windows Search, Microsoft Search takes search experience to a corporate level and employees could search their company’s documents and other details directly from Microsoft Search.
Now, Microsoft has announced that it plans to bring its new Microsoft Search to Windows 10 in September 2020.
“Microsoft Search is an enterprise search experience in Microsoft 365 that increases productivity and saves time by delivering more relevant search results for your organization. Get blazing fast search for people, bookmarks, locations, and Q&A in Windows search. With Microsoft Search in Windows, you can now get answers across both work and web integrated into the search panel,” the new roadmap reads.
